Common Questions for Potential Franchisees

Am I my own boss?

You call the shots, you manage the schedule, you run the show – just understand as a franchisee, you own the individual franchise and territory but per signed FBnD’s agreement you agreed to follow a formula put in place by the franchisor (FBnD). But for all day to day operations, sales, marketing, business processes, you are the responsible party. This is “YOUR” business!

Do franchise owners have to work?

A franchise enables you, the franchisee, to operate your business accordingly. You pay a franchise fee and you receive a format or system developed by the franchisor, the right to use the franchisor’s name for a specific number of years and support and assistance. Your obligation and potential income is dependent on how you invest your time into your company. FBnD advocates that all owners are actively invested working consistently within the company on a day to day basis. As an owner, you need to ensure your territory is covered to handle all calls and scheduled appointments.

Can I choose hours of operation?

FBnD highly recommends that you provide coverage throughout the day with some evenings to meet the demand for scheduled appointments. FBnD recommends devoting 8:00am to 9:00am for office work and then scheduling client calls/installations during daylight hours. You should not make any calls after 8:00 pm unless confirmed with clients due to their availability.
